Ruth Lokalei Emanikor

Ruth is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with 19 years of legal experience. Her expertise spans human rights, policy advocacy, and international advocacy, including engagement with UN reporting mechanisms.

Throughout her career, Ruth has worked with various local and national organizations, focusing on empowering women and girls in indigenous communities. She's held senior positions in key constitutional bodies and founded her own law firm in Turkana County.

Ruth is dedicated to advancing human rights and legal reform, with a deep commitment to serving vulnerable communities across Kenya. Her work has been recognized with awards such as the Generation of Leaders Award (GOLD) in 2011.
